What was the challenge?

As a fast-emerging force in climate action, Global Methane Hub faced the urgent challenge of building a world-class global team quickly. The organisation needed more than just highly skilled professionals; it needed individuals with a deep, personal commitment to solving one of the planet’s most pressing environmental issues. Partnering closely with the Chief of Staff and Operations, Upsall International was tasked with the challenge of identifying exceptional talent who could thrive in a fast-growing, ambitious, international, and mission-driven environment.

What was our solution?

Upsall International assembled a team of dedicated consultants to tailor our Shortlist Search service into a focused recruitment effort for four critical roles. Our strategy focused on creating momentum and raising visibility, ensuring that the broader sector recognised Global Methane Hub’s dynamic growth and meaningful commitment to impactful change whilst ensuring a streamlined and efficient process.

What was the result?

During the 2023 recruitment campaign, we successfully filled the 4 initial roles. Building on that momentum, our partnership has continued, and we have since supported the Global Methane Hub team in hiring an additional 8 positions. Together, we have strengthened their operational and program capacity, helping Global Methane Hub to drive meaningful methane mitigation efforts worldwide.
