Corporate Sponsorship Lead

NPH Belgium

Background

NPH Belgium is the fundraising office of the international NPH network, which provides vulnerable children in Latin America and Haiti with a safe home, education, health care, and nutrition, while also supporting families in surrounding communities.

Established in 1994, NPH Belgium raises funds to support NPH’s children’s villages and community programmes across the region. The organisation has a small office team and a strong legacy of fundraising. In order to strengthen its long-term financial sustainability, the Board is seeking to develop a more structured and strategic corporate sponsorship function.

Purpose of role

The purpose of the Corporate Sponsorship Lead is to build and lead NPH Belgium’s corporate sponsorship function. The successful candidate will develop sustainable new income streams, strengthen corporate engagement, and contribute to the diversification of the organisation’s funding base.

This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring both relationship-building and implementation. The postholder will be expected to shape the function, establish processes, develop a pipeline of prospects, and secure meaningful corporate partnerships that support NPH Belgium’s mission.

The role will also involve regular interaction with the Board, including reporting and recommendations as appropriate, to ensure alignment with organisational priorities and governance oversight.

Primary responsibilities

The job holder will have the following key responsibilities:

Corporate sponsorship and partnerships

  • Develop and execute a corporate sponsorship strategy for NPH Belgium.
  • Identify, approach, and cultivate prospective corporate partners aligned with NPH Belgium’s mission and values.
  • Create persuasive partnership propositions tailored to different audiences.
  • Manage the full partnership cycle from prospecting to stewardship.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of corporate sponsorship opportunities.
  • Secure partnerships that provide financial support and, where relevant, wider value such as employee engagement, in-kind contributions, or strategic collaboration.

Strategic development and income diversification

  • Establish and grow a structured and sustainable corporate sponsorship pillar.
  • Contribute to a more diversified and resilient income model.
  • Introduce a pipeline-led and results-driven approach to corporate fundraising.
  • Ensure the corporate sponsorship function complements existing fundraising activity.
  • Support the organisation’s longer-term financial sustainability.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, office team, and Board.
  • Contribute to planning, coordination, and follow-up on key organisational priorities.
  • Bring structure, continuity, and accountability to the development of the function.
  • Use internal knowledge and insight to strengthen external engagement.

External representation

  • Represent NPH Belgium at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation and its work in Latin America and Haiti.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Support presentations, proposal development, and high-level partner engagement.

Reporting and governance

  • Provide regular updates, reporting, and recommendations to the Executive Director.
  • Maintain regular interaction with the Board of Directors, including reporting and recommendations as required.
  • Track progress and manage follow-up in a structured and professional manner.
