CECG welcomes their Inaugural Chief Programme Officer!

With a mission to support and build a diverse ecosystem of actors to accelerate climate impact, the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) is growing their team to ensure they can continue to catalyse collective action, focus impactful organisations, and disseminate powerful narratives.

Inviting the very first Chief Programme Officer to the team, CECG were on the search for a seasoned and knowledgeable leader to translate their ambitious strategic goals into actionable programme objectives.

Today, we’re incredibly pleased to announce that Alexander Ege has taken on the position of Chief Programme Officer, joining the climate actors to provide leadership to the global team.

Climate strategist Alexander brings nearly two decades of experience and a deep passion for the climate fight to the team. The new Chief Programme Officer will not only steer CECG’s strategic direction but also oversee the implementation of the full programme portfolio and grant-making philosophy.

Upsall International’s Senior Recruitment Consultant, Ruth Gardner, having collaborated with CECG on a number of occasions over the last 3 years, was poised to lead the search for Alexander.

Now in post, Alexander is making strides at CECG, and Upsall International are very much looking forward to seeing Alexander’s impact and  collaborating with our valued partners, CECG, again in the future.
