27 Nov Greenpeace welcomes Ludivine Houdet!
Playing witness to the environmental challenges across East Asia, Greenpeace is working tirelessly in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Taipei, and Seoul to drive action, tackle climate change, halt deforestation, curb pollution, safeguard food security, and defend marine ecosystems.
Greenpeace East Asia continues to build a movement and remains committed to shaping a future where the people and planet thrive.
Needing a new leader to develop and implement fundraising and engagement strategies across the region, Greenpeace ignited the search for a Fundraising and Engagement Director and we are very pleased to reveal that Ludivine Houdet has now taken on the position.
Ludivine brings a wealth of global experience, having led fundraising, public engagement, and organisational development in diverse and complex environments. Ready for her new tenure at Greenpeace East Asia, Ludivine commented: “I’m excited to join Greenpeace East Asia and contribute to its work defending civic space and exposing environmental harm. Fundraising is a practical bridge to engage diverse audiences, deepen participation, and mobilise for systemic change. This work is especially compelling in East Asia, where high stakes meet high capability: choices made here shape supply chains, energy use, oceans, air and public health, while climate impacts are felt daily.”
Sophie Lee who is the senior HR officer at Greenpeace East Asia commented: It has been a great pleasure to handle the recruitment process for such a critical position. Within a remarkably short period of time, the process was carried out efficiently, accurately, and seamlessly, leading to an excellent outcome. I am delighted to welcome Ludivine as the new Fundraising & Engagement Director at Greenpeace East Asia, and I very much look forward to working together and achieving great results as a team.
With Senior Recruitment Consultant, Ruth Gardner leading the process, the search spanned Asia as Ruth tapped into international networks to locate Ludivine. Ruth and the entire team are thrilled to see Ludivine in position, and very much look forward to hearing of her inevitable success at Greenpeace East Asia.
