Rosie Afia-Ford

Rosie Afia-Ford is CECG’s newest team member

For the last five years, Upsall International has been thrilled to partner with Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) to build their team as they collaborate with some of the world’s largest climate philanthropies to drive just and ambitious climate action.

Needing a new Grants Manager in the organisation, Upsall International’s Recruitment Consultant, Tricia Placido, launched a recruitment search across the UK to find the newest CECG team member.

We are now pleased to announce that Rosie Afia-Ford has taken on the position of Grants Manager and joins CECG to manage the full life cycle of grants from inception to closure, overseeing all aspects of CECG’s vital grant making activities.

Rosie brings over 12 years of experience in the non-profit world with essential expertise in designing and running robust grants mechanisms and pipelines in many countries around the world.

Starting her new role, Rosie commented: ”I’m energised by the mission. I’m looking forward to building out the new UK entity and strengthening the processes to support such important climate work. Being part of a team that’s literally building the foundation for a new organisation is exactly the kind of challenge I love.”

Both Upsall International and the entire CECG are excited to have Rosie in position and look forward to hearing how she gets on as Grants Manager.
