16 Sep To future successes: Welcome to The Marilles Foundation, Pablo Rodríguez Ros!

The Marilles Foundation is a private non-profit organisation that works to transform the Balearic Islands into a world reference for marine conservation. By bringing together funders to support local projects and build collective strategies, they improve the state of the marine and coastal ecosystems of the Balearic Sea.

By partnering with Upsall International, The Marilles Foundation was able to find a speedy and perfect fit for the role of Director in Pablo Rodríguez Ros.  Pablo joins the team with an exceptional background in marine science, policy and an abundance of experience in the non-profit sector and advocacy in the Mediterranean.

When asked what he’s most looking forward to in his new venture, Pablo commented: “I am eager to continue working to improve the conservation status of the Balearic Sea alongside the great team at the Marilles Foundation. I believe we can make these islands and their surrounding sea a global benchmark for marine conservation, and we will achieve this together with all relevant stakeholders in the region”.

Furthermore, leadership at the Marilles Foundation is being strengthened: Aniol Esteban, the founder and former Director of Marilles, is now taking on the role of Development Director.
