Our incredible partners, the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group (CECG) have been continuing on their mission to support and build a diverse group of philanthropic actors to drive just, ambitious, and responsive climate action.

With the need so strong, the CECG team have been building their team in order to meet their huge mission. Today, we welcome Elaine Phung and Firasat Tanveer who take on the roles of Partnerships Coordinator and Finance Officer UK respectively.

Firstly, the team were thrilled to welcome Elaine Phung to the role of Partnerships Coordinator in October. Having worked in fundraising for a number of years, Elain joins CECG bringing strong experience in building essential relationships with important stakeholders and partners.

Secondly, Firasat Tanveer has also joined the climate actors as Finance Officer taking responsibility for the vital fundraising function of the organisation. With deep experience in finance for the non-profit sector, Firasat brings significant knowledge to CECG.

Tricia Placido, who headed up the searches for Elaine and Firasat, along with the entire Upsall international team are incredibly pleased to have partnered with the Climate Emergency Collaboration Group again and are thrilled to see Elaine and Firasat in position.
